UF Health Durbin Park Plans Health And Wellness Campus In St. John’s County, Florida

University of Florida (Gainesville) and UF Health (Gainesville) began construction in UF Health Durbin Parkon a new 42.5-acre health and wellness campus in St. John County, Florida.

The first phase of UF Health Durbin Park development will include a 395,000-square-foot, 150-bed hospital with a focus on orthopedics, neurosurgery, cardiovascular medicine and women’s services, as well as critical, acute and emergency care.

The hospital will include operating rooms, an imaging suite and hybrid laboratories for interventional procedures.

A multidisciplinary medical office building (MOB) and an outpatient surgery center are also planned. The ambulatory surgery center will include orthopedics and other surgical services, and operating and procedure rooms, office space and rehabilitation facilities.

It is expected to open in late 2025.
